Horticulture and Nursery Internships Available

Moser Fruit Tree Sales and its affiliates, Moser's Nursery and Grandpa's Orchard, are growing and expanding rapidly.  We have internship possibilities for special individuals who are keenly interested in the various facets of the fruit tree nursery industry that we work in, from wholesale bareroot and container fruit tree production and sales to our website fruit tree nursery aspects.  There would be opportunity to work closely with the owner and also have interaction with other various aspects of the fruit and orchard industry.

Individuals interested should contact us.  Internship periods could be flexible based on our needs and the applicants needs.  The most common expected internship periods would start in March and could run through August/September.

Experience would be gained in all aspects of bareroot and container fruit tree production, as well as some office and administrative work.  Sales and marketing aspects in the Grandpa's Orchard nursery fulfillment program would be mostly during the March through May period.

We would be interested only in individuals who are self-starters and hard workers.  Some familiarity with or background in the nursery or orchard industry would be desired.  An individual must show the desire and ability to work hard under all circumstances and weather.  Ability to operate moderate sized farm machinery would be helpful.  Familiarity with fruit types and varieties would be very helpful.
